This is a great keyboard overall. I love the key response times. The noise is a little less than a Cherry MX Red switch, but it's not silent. What I love:- The Cherry MX Silver keys are incredibly light and fast- The back plate is a brushed sliver looking plate which lets the RGB lights reflect much better- Memory programmable profilesWhat I dislike but don't hate:- The included wrist pad is only for the left side and there is no right side pad- The wrist rest is not great because there is a lower area in the middle, so normal typing introduces a weird multilevel typing experienceWhat I hate:- The Function key is in the place of where the Windows key is on the left side... this is the absolute worst part of this keyboard. I'm right handed and the most common windows key that I hit is the left side windows key. I really never hit the right side windows key.My initial reaction to this keyboard was to love it with 5 stars. After using it I really wanted to give it 3 stars; and that's because of the uneven wrists rest. But because it has the memory based programmable lighting effects, I have to bump it up to 4 stars. If you are a typist using this board, like I am, don't get this because the wrist rest is BS due to uneven rests. If you're a gamer, this is a great keyboard. It's a nice alternative to Corsair keyboards at a much more expensive price point.Pros:• Clicky Cherry MX Blue Keys• Great looking RBG patterns and good presets to choose frrom• Robust customization options in the UIX software• Sleek looking brushed "metal" surfaces• Excellent price point• High Quality construction• Integration and RGB Coordination with other Cougar UIX ProductsCons:• Windows key on the left side has been replaced by the Function "FN" key• Getting custom colors and effects on the keyboard using UIX can be tediousHaving previously owned the Cougar Ultimus before this one, I was familiar with Cougar's build quality and had become somewhat of a Cougar fan-boy. I already owned the Revenger mouse and the Immersa Pro Headset, which are both UIX compatible, so I thought it was time for an upgrade. My experience has been fantastic! I've been using this keyboard for a few months now and I can honestly say nothing negative about it. Button clicks feel tactile and responsive, the backlight options and colors are great and saturated, and the build quality feels top-notch, though a little light. It has a thick braided cable and it does use 2 USB slots, 1 for the device, and another for powering the backlighting. It does not have any headset cable routing, which I always have found tedious so it didn't bother me at all. The only thing that took a little getting used to was the Fn key replaceing the Windows key on the left side. Since that was the Windows key I primarily used, I had to re-think pressing it every time I needed it.All in all, I am extremely satisfied with this product and would certainly buy it again if the need arose.I really enjoy this keyboard. I upgraded from the X3 Red w/ Cherry MX Red switches. That keyboard is pretty good too, but had some issues with hand positioning that were hard to get around, even just with regular typing. Not the case with this keyboard! The Silver switches are, in my opinion, quieter than the Reds, and the 40% reduction in activation time was instantly noticeable. If you're using an different keyboard that already has a shallow press, you might not notice it as much. The added wrist rest for the left hand is not great for regular typing, but it is removable. So I take the wrist rest off for school, and put it on when I'm playing. It's super easy to just slip on and pop off. Took a little getting used to when using it for gaming, but I think that I benefit from it now.I'm not an expert gamer by any means, but I know what feels right, and I feel that this keyboard has helped me improve my game performance. Not only that, but it looks ABSOLUTELY gorgeous with the different lights settings. All in all, I recommend this keyboard.Should be noted that this keyboard will require 2 USB ports in order to work, one for power, and one for functionality, so if you don't have 2 ports available that are close to each other, rearrange your hardware or you're out of luck. If the keyboard doesn't light up when you plug them in, unplug both, and then plug in the power USB first.I Liked this keyboard. Nice solid construction and very rapid reaction. The keys are very responsive usally and are quite satisfying to press. The light is nice a bright. The colors are very pronounced and do not mix together. (red is red, not mixed with blue or any other color). The Keyboard does not have any macro keys but that is fine by me, I never really used them. I do miss that it does not have any dedicated media keys but i am already used to not using them. I have been using this keyboard for a week now and i still love it.Pros:solid constructionRapid response from keysVery nice RGB lightingCan Customize any key with the software.Cons:Very thick USB cableSometimes a key sticksWrist rest is kinda uncomfortable if typing for long hours. Some letters are double or tripled when typed. Its not a specific letter which has issue seem the keyss are running randomly
