Easy to put together. Very strong and good size.Overall very happy with this desk! My gaming daughter loves it. She picked it out and I had reservations about the sturdiness, legs of the desk and so forth. However we are pleasantly surprised how solid and sturdy the desk is. The desktop itself is not 55”. The measurements include the accessories you can mount on the side. We chose not to attach the cup holder. The top is in two pieces so you will have a seam down the middle. Which did not, and so far has not, affected the sturdiness in the least. The manufacturers have taken this into account and it’s braced very well. Very pleased with purchase!Amazing product specially for the price. I needed a new desk for work and one that I could add a dual screen wall mount to and this was perfect! I love it!I like the desk. Looks good and is sturdy. Good deal for the price. I would give 5 stars if the instructions were easier to follow. The written and online instructions do not match each other. There were extra unnecessary in the instructionsEdit, after 4 days seller refunded $115 dollars to my card.Had this desk for less than 6 months, treated well not abused not moved around. Sat down today only to find that under the desk mat that i was moving to clean the table top surface has started to peel. I mean i understand its just particle board with vinyl on it but seriously. I don't even leave drinks on the desk can't say I'm not a little disappointed with it.I've been on a terrible luck streak trying to find a decent desk on Amazon. I thought this might be the one, but it's not.Assembling it was easy enough, except one part. There's 2 frame pieces that screw underneath the desk that aren't connected in the middle. You slide 2 thin bars into the shafts of these frames to bridge them. Those thin bars don't have any screw holes in them, and you're supposed to put 4 screws down through the frame shafts that touch the thin bars to hold them in place.The problem is, those screws are not sized to sit flush on the frames so you're left with 4 screws in the center of the desk that are sticking out a good quarter inch. Not only is it aesthetically unappealing, they also create a hazard of scraping your thighs across bolts.The wood and metal for this desk is low quality junk. When you screw down bolts on this desk, you're met with the concerning sound of wood cracking. When you go to tighten the bolts down, the metal around the bolts starts bending inwards. The quality of these materials are awful.Once this thing is put together, it does not look like a nice desk at all. It looks like a cheap table you'd buy for folding laundry on. It's also very obvious how weak the center of this desk is. I put my arms down on the center and pushed down with a slight about of force and started hearing cracking and the desk was visually bowing in the middle. I can also already see that the outer lined on this desk is not glued well and is already showing signs of lifting away straight out of the box.This desk is a four letter word. I will be returning it and continuing my search....Good computer stand for the place looks nice easy to build I like itI really like the space on it. That extra 3 inches really adds to this product. Feels nice a sturdy. Was easy to assemble. I also like how it doesn't feel like I'm going to catch my feet on something important when I use the foot rest on my chair. I held back one star because there's no option to install the cup holder and headset holder towards the front instead of the side without drilling your own hole and possibly losing some integrity of the wood used. It was just a thought I had while I was putting it together, and I don't want to risk one of the most expensive items I possess on that slim chance. So I did the next best thing, and it works.An excellent product! My only concern before buying was its sturdiness, but the pictures don't do it justice. The main part of the desk is in two parts but is held together by 2 larger and 2 smaller poles which makes it feel like it's all one part. Setup was easy although the instructions were wedged in among the parts so it took some confused unboxing to find them. They were plenty clear enough though. It also came with a proper sturdy screwdriver rather than the awful flimsy ones you normally get in flat-packs. This was especially generous given said screwdriver was only used for a few minor bits at the end. It arrived much earlier than expected which was nice too. If I had to be picky i'd say the cup holder could be in a better location as it's quite far away from you. You could theoretically make new holes (the original placement had pre-drilled holes) and move it but I didn't want to risk that. Overall though i'd absolutely recommend. It's great value for money!I'm not a gamer, I was looking for a replacement for an old computer work station, and began by looking in office equipment. Then a bit of lateral thinking and a search for a gaming desk, and hey presto.This is a great desk even for a non-gamer. Easy to assemble, tools included. It is quite heavy, the package took a bit of lifting when it arrived. I was concerned that the desk has to be constructed upside down, as the two halves of the top surface must be squared up and the screws tightened so that all other parts will fit correctly. So I was worried about turning it the right way up, but once finished it was fine, and I'm of average build and 67 years old. In fact, there is a small gap between the two sections, this can't be adjusted as the screws/pre-fitted tapped fittings are fixed and the brackets supplied have holes, not slots. However this is a very minor issue.There is plenty of space, I have a pair of bookshelf speakers , each 15" x 10" x 10", one at each side of the surface, and they are nicely spaced for proper stereo sound, while there is still loads of room left for a keyboard, mouse, and DAC. The DAC plays through a hi-fi amplifier, I have that under the desk where there is also plenty of space to stretch out in your office/gaming chair, and to put some storage containers if you wish. The desk is topped off by a huge mat, see the pictures supplied by Amazon, the entire assembly looks exactly as it is shown.I am very pleased with this desk, very good value for a solid piece of furniture, lots of space, nice touch to include a bracket for hanging up your headphones and one to hold your coffee mug, also a stand to hold half-a-dozen of your favourite game dvd's.You will need a proper gaming chair to go with it as it's quite high compared to an ordinary work station, but it's far superior.Excellent desk, pretty easy to put together and nice and sturdy! Well it is now anyway, the first arrived and one of the legs was a bit wobbly on a welded join. So I may the seller on here.To say I was impressed is an understatement, a very rapid reply asking me for more details as to the problem and part, I duly replied with a picture, near instant reply saying they are looking in to it and will come back.A few hours later I received a msg saying a whole new desk is on its way, a day or so later (there was a the may BH so pretty much next day delivery) it arrives.Truly stunned how good the seller is.Desk wise it’s perfect, fits a couple of 27inch curved screens easy and all round excellent quality.... oh and loved the free screw driver!If you’re after a decent desk buy this one, it does the job and if thing is wrong you’re in very good hands.Ignore my cabels *** work in progress there**I was looking for a new gaming desk for about 2 weeks, as mine was small and very cramped! However I come across this one and after seeing reviews I thought it would be a good choice including the price point as many gaming desks are usually expensive. Was very easy to set up and put together and very sturdy! (Usually worried it if can hold the weight of my tower). Deffo worth the price and I would recommend!The quality of the desk feels good, and it comes with a lot of extras (cup holder, controller stand, headphone stand), as well as essentials for cable management (cable holes and cable tray underneath the desk). Please note that the top surface is comprised of 2 boards which some people might not like. I personally did not care and there is also a huge mouse pad that can be used to cover it (see pictures in amazon). Overall, very pleased and the 120cm desk was a good fit for my 2 monitors (27 and 24 inch).NB:I initially had issues assembling this (i was silly) but the customer service team was very helpful and assisted me in resolving these.
