Great chair for the price. Have you looked at the DX Racer chairs and thought "Those look cool. Who wouldn't want to sit in a racing seat?"Well, have you ever sat in an actual Recaro or similar racing seat? Unless the thing is specifically designed for LeMans, they're uncomfortable. Bad. This chair isn't... yet.Granted, I just got done assembling the thing, but I've read the negative reviews, and, well, here's my humble rebuttal:Folks have said something about the seat leaning too far forward. Mine has an E-brake styled (cool idea, actually) back adjustment handle that works great. I don't lean back in the seat to play games anyway, so, as I'm leaning forward, the forward leaning stance that it certainly does have isn't too much for me. if it is for you, use the e-brake handle and adjust it.I'm 5'6", and the max height isn't a problem for me, but I can certainly see where some tall folks might have an issue. This also calls into question the position of the armrests for using the mouse and keyboard. Maybe it would please more people if it's being used at a desk with the pull out keyboard / mouse platform. Again, I don't game leaning back, so maybe that's why it's still not an issue for me. The armrests aren't "padded", but they are cushioned with a hard rubber. Still not an issue in my eyes.Assembly was done almost entirely on my own. I possess no engineering degree, and the instructions were pertinent enough for me to get it assembled (taking my time and chatting with my wife as I was doing so) in around 45 minutes at an extremely leisurely pace. The covers for the back support brackets take screws that are short, but if you put a little force into it (you shouldn't break the plastic) the length is fine. Everything was very straight-forward.As to the quality of the materials, the base itself is insanely sturdy, I had no problems lining screws up, and everything else seems to be made from types of materials that defy the price tag.Overall: I'm extremely happy with the purchase. Have you seen the price tag on some of the other chairs? For the money, I can't imagine having purchased anything better, and I scoured the internet to find this one. If for some reason you get damaged parts out-of-the-box, there is an email address and more contact info inside. Deal with them directly. I've even seen the company post on here trying to get in contact with people to make things right, so, they seem very willing to take care of any issues that arise, as frustrating as it may be.
